Before I sell it. I clay barred, waxed, polished, etc. before winter, and DAMN my car looked shiny and smooth. No more swirl marks, lots of imperfections disappeared, etc., but the problem was - it didn't last. After a wash the shinyness went away, and the paint went back to being swirl marky and duller, and got less and less shiny after every week. Sucks. I think the only way to get them to stay away is to eliminate them, and not just cover them up. High powered, buffers, etc. which I don't have. Oh well, he said he'll do it for only like $70, and I think if someone came to look at the car, they'd be more likely to buy a car that makes you put sunglasses on to look at it than to see a dull car. Just thought I'd share.
